Father’s Day Treasure… with Gin!

let’s begin

This Father’s Day (Sunday 18th June) pioneering split-base, jasmine gin brand Willem Barentsz, invites the public to take their Super Dads on a gin-laced map hunt, where a pair stand the chance of winning the ultimate adventure to anywhere in the world, as part of ‘The Jasmine Trail’.

What better way to celebrate Father’s Day than taking your old man out to some of London’s best cocktail bars, trying out some of the finest Willem Barentsz inspired drinks, and stand a chance at treating Dad to the adventure of a lifetime.

Simply take your father out to seek sections of a global map hidden within each of the four enlisted bars, take a quick snap of the map, and share it on Twitter or Instagram with the hashtags #WBJasmineTrail and #WillemBarentsz for the chance to win.

This is to celebrate the pioneering spirit behind 16th century Dutch explorer, Captain Willem Barentsz, who’s passionate quest for adventure struck a chord with modern-day maverick and owner, Michael Claessens, naming the gin in his honour.

The four bars will serve a bespoke Willem Barentsz gin cocktail, created especially for The Jasmine Trail, and will include:

  • TT Liquor – 17 Kingslans Road, E2 8AA (The Groglet)
  • The Distillery – Portobello Road, W11 1LA (Gunpowder Sour)
  • Graphic Bar – 4 Golden Square, W1F 9HT (Jasmine Trail G&T)
  • 214 Bermondsey – 214 Bermondsey Street, SE1 3TQ (Silver Needle & Jasmine Collins)
